Vote for the best fridge on facebook this weekend

The humble household fridge is to many people just an inanimate object that keeps food cold and takes up space in the kitchen, but it actually evokes great passion as Alice Solar City discovered.

Alice Springs householders have been uploading a picture of their fridge to the Alice Solar City Facebook page this month, sharing why they would or wouldn’t swap or surrender it, or switch it off.

This weekend the community can vote for their favourite fridge photo to help choose the winners of a summer supply of ice cream or one of two mega-sized eskies, to be announced on Monday.
