Solar PV Bulk Purchase Program

Alice Solar City's funding for residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems was fully allocated in late 2009.  Funding was provided to 277 householders to install a BP Solar Energizer solar power system (around 70 householders more than the original target).

As a result of significant further interest from Alice Solar City participants and the wider Alice Springs community, Alice Solar City undertook to investigate facilitating further solar power system packages for Alice Springs residents, via a bulk purchase scheme.  These packages take advantage of generous funding (ie rebates) available through the Australia wide Solar Credits scheme, and thus some very attractive deals are available for Alice Springs residents.

We are pleased to now present these packages, from two different suppliers, to the Alice Springs community and hope that these will allow even more householders to 'go solar'.

 Before viewing these packages, please take note of the following stipulations: 

• Alice Solar City has undertaken to facilitate a bulk purchase program with the aim of providing householders with further options to ‘go solar’.
• Alice Solar City does not specifically recommend or warrant the goods or services of either Company nor is it responsible for any aspect of the goods or services supplied.
• As Alice Solar City has already assessed these packages, we are not able to provide any further specific advice in regards to which supplier should be selected.
• Householders who choose to take up one of the packages on offer agree that Alice Solar City is not liable for any loss or damage incurred, and that any redress will be sought direct from the supplier.
• Householders do NOT need to be registered with Alice Solar City to take advantage of either of these offers.
• Householders should contact one or both companies directly for further information on their solar power packages and to arrange an inspection, quote or installation.
