Be an energy champion

Every Alice Springs resident can be an energy champion

A Little ChampionBeing an energy champion isn’t just about reducing the amount of power you use.  It’s also about using energy wisely, making your home more energy efficient and using renewable energy where possible.

Being an energy champion is also about looking at the bigger picture.  For example, using less water will reduce the amount of power required to pump water into the community, which in turn reduces the amount of carbon dioxide that is released.

There a lots of things you can do to become an energy champion.  Many of them won’t cost you a cent . . .but they will reduce your impact on the environment and your power bill.
