10 July 2008: Incentives for Large Business

Alice Solar City General Manager Brian Elmer urges large Alice Springs businesses to take advantage of significant financial incentives to make energy efficiency improvements in their operations.

The first round of Alice Solar City’s large Commercial Energy Efficiency program
was launched today.

Large businesses can apply to receive a subsidy of up to 35% on the capital costs of implementing energy efficiency measures, up to a subsidy normally capped at $25,000. However for larger, more innovative projects, consideration will be given to provide up to $50,000 in financial support. The closing date for applications is 22 August.
