First National Framptons Real Estate Framptons became the first solar powered real estate agent in Alice Springs with the support of Alice Solar City, and undertook a range of energy efficiency measures in its heritage precinct office building to complement its solar power installation.

Pigglys Supermarket Pigglys Pty Ltd is a popular Alice Springs supermarket, takeaway and liquor store that has been operating from the same premises in Gap Road for over forty years. Pigglys energy efficiency drive includes improvements such as lighting autotransformers, ceiling insulation, a white roof, and better refrigeration door seals.

Milner Meats and Seafood Milner Meats is Alice Springs first solar powered butcher and gourmet deli, with a 10kW system installed on the roof of their premises.
They have also painted their roof white and installed a heat pump hot water system in place of electric hot water.
