The Smart Living Centre is the hub and focal point of Alice Solar City.
Located in the heart of Alice Springs it offers a wealth of information on energy efficiency, solar energy technology and on how to get involved. Chat with our friendly staff, browse the displays, try out the information kiosk and sign up to take advantage of the incentives and packages on offer. A range of technologies are on display, including energy efficient lighting, solar hot water, solar photovoltaic system, a smart meter and in-house display and more.
We also have a small resource area, with various publications, journals and DVDs regarding energy efficient house design, renewable energy and other general sustainable energy topics. We also have some Energy Meters available for loan. Whether you have a general interest or doing a school project, you are welcome to browse our collection at your leisure.
